This track started out intended as another Ethio banger, then the addition of Richard Ormrod's roaring baritone put the Sorcerers in mind of the classic chanbara soundtracks of Fumio Hayasaka et al. Hence the title - Yasuke was an African servant brought to Japan by a Jesuit priest, who became a samurai under warlord Odu Nobunaga. The Sorcerers wondered what Yasuke would have made of the current Tokyo Clubland district.
